Flames Ranked Top 10% in State! |

Congratulations to all the Flames teams playing in NISL this Fall for their excellent performance at the seeding tournaments. The Flames boys' teams for this Fall are now ranked as shown (most age groups have around 120 teams, with many of them split between North/South):
Note that many of our teams are ranked in the top 10% of teams in the state! Click on the links above for details. |

Flames Win 2010 Oswego Soccer Classic! |

Of the 9 Aurora Flames teams that took part in the Oswego Soccer Classic over Memorial Day weekend 2010, 6 of them made it to the finals and 4 of those won the championship. The teams that participated and their final standings are:
- U8 Boys - 2nd place in highest division.
- U9 Boys - 3rd place in highest division.
- U10 Boys - Champions in highest division!
- U11 Boys - 2nd place in highest division.
- U12 Boys White - Champions in their division!
- U12 Boys Red - Champions in their division!
- U13 Boys - 5th place in U14 age group.
- U14 Boys - Champions in U15 age group!
- U14 Girls - 4th place in highest division.
Congratulations to all the teams and players for their hard work, high performance and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Aurora Flames Soccer Club is proud to announce its first ever club-wide open tryouts!
Aurora Flames Soccer Club tryouts for the 2010-2011 seasons:
Dates:
- Tuesday June 1st and
Wednesday June 2nd
Times (same ages/times both days, boys and girls at same times):
- 6:00->7:00pm = players born on or after 08/01/99 (U11 and younger)
- 7:00->8:00pm = players born before 08/01/99 (U12 and older)
Where:
About Aurora Flames:
- Mission: To provide soccer playing and development opportunities for EVERYONE, regardless of financial situation.
- Cost: only $125 per player per league season (compare with other travel clubs typically charging $1,500 to $3,000 per year!). Reduced fee financial aid also available.
- Teams: currently 10 teams across most age groups, some ranked among the top 10% of teams in the State!
- Games:all teams play in the Northern Illinois Soccer League (NISL) which has 2 league seasons (Fall and Spring) each with 8 to 10 games. Most teams also attend tournaments throughout the year and play in other local leagues off-season.
- Training:2 or more practice sessions per week in-season. Most teams train year-round.
Please bring these to tryouts:
- Water
- Shinguards
- Soccer ball (with players name written on it).

Congratulations to the Flames U13 Boys and the Flames U10 Boys for each taking first place in their age group in the Midwest Wings Fall Classic tournament! The Flames U14 Boys also need to be congratulated for a very strong showing in fighting their way to the final but coming second to the current state champions G-Force. |
