The redesigned Aurora Flames Soccer Club website is the result of the collaborative efforts of the Aurora Flames Soccer Club Board of Directors, coaches, and parents all dedicated to the idea of presenting informative and relative club information to site visitors on a timely basis.

After several years of website inactivity, the Aurora Flames Soccer Club was determined to see a newly developed website come to life again providing community members with relevant Aurora Flames Soccer Club information. This information included Aurora Flames Soccer Club news items, registration and other forms, a current calendar of events, team information with schedules, and of course lots of photographs.

In the Spring of 2008, the Aurora Flames Soccer Club enlisted the assistance of coach Ed Morton and web designer/administrator Rob Kraft  to begin the work of redesigning the Aurora Flames Soccer Club website. The goal was to ensure that the needs of website users would be met and that the resulting website would not only be visually appealing, but that the website would also provide relevant information to users quickly and easily. Also of importance was the need to update and maintain club information as easily as possible with minimal training involved. With this in mind, a major feature of the Aurora Flames Soccer Club website is that it is built on the Joomla! Content Management System framework.
